Conditions We Treat
Plain explanations of common heart conditions — what the symptoms mean, how we diagnose them, and what treatment usually involves.
Coronary Artery Disease
Narrowing of the heart's own arteries by cholesterol plaque — the cause of angina and heart attacks, and the most common serious heart condition in India.
Heart Failure
A weakened or stiff heart that cannot pump enough for the body's needs — treatable, and far better managed early than late.
Arrhythmia (Heart Rhythm Disorders)
Hearts that beat too fast, too slow, or irregularly — from harmless extra beats to rhythms that need urgent treatment.
Heart Valve Disease
Valves that leak or narrow — from rheumatic mitral stenosis, still common in India, to degenerative aortic stenosis in older age.
Hypertension (High Blood Pressure)
The most common — and most silently damaging — cardiac risk factor. Roughly one in four Indian adults has it; barely half of them know.
High Cholesterol (Dyslipidemia)
Raised LDL cholesterol drives plaque build-up in arteries for decades before symptoms appear. Indians often carry an unfavourable pattern even at normal weight.
