These terms cover your use of this website, which is run by Cardio Care, the practice of Dr. (Prof.) Tarun Kumar ("we", "us"). By using the site you're agreeing to them. We've kept them as short and plain as we could. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.

Please read this first: it's not medical advice

The articles, videos, FAQs and service pages here are general information about heart health. They're written to help you understand conditions and treatments and to have better conversations with your doctor. They are not a diagnosis, and they can't replace an examination, tests and a proper consultation.

Reading this site, sending us a form or writing a review does not make you Dr. Kumar's patient. That relationship starts when you're actually seen in consultation. Please don't start, stop or change any medicine or treatment because of something you've read here.

Emergencies

This website is not for emergencies. Nobody watches the forms around the clock. If you have chest pain, sudden breathlessness, fainting, or any sign of a heart attack or stroke, call 112 or go straight to the nearest emergency department. Don't wait for us to call you back.

Appointment requests

The appointment form sends a request. Your appointment is only confirmed when someone from the clinic calls you and agrees a time. The date and time you pick are a preference, and we'll do our best to match them. We usually call back within one working day.

Consultations take place at the Medanta-Moolchand Heart Centre. Consultation fees, billing, insurance, cancellations and your medical records are all handled by the hospital under its own rules. Please make sure the details you give us are accurate, so we can reach you.

About the hospital

This is Dr. Kumar's own practice website. It is not the official website of Medanta or Moolchand. We mention those hospitals because that's where Dr. Kumar works. Their names and logos belong to them.

Reviews you submit

We welcome honest reviews. If you write one, please:

• write about your own experience, or that of a family member you were with;
• keep other patients' names and health details out of it;
• avoid anything abusive, defamatory, or promotional;
• use your real name, or a name you're happy to see published.

Our team reads every review before it's published. We may decline or remove a review that breaks these points, and we may correct obvious typing errors, but we won't change what you meant. We don't edit reviews to make them more positive. By submitting a review you allow us to show it on this site, with the name you gave, for as long as the site runs. You can ask us to take it down whenever you want.

How you may use the site

Use it for its purpose: finding information and getting in touch. Please don't:

• send false appointment requests or reviews, or submit on someone else's behalf without their permission;
• try to get into the admin area or any part of the site you're not meant to reach;
• send spam, malware or automated traffic, or scrape the site in bulk;
• do anything that could harm the site or the people who use it.

Content and copyright

The text, photos, videos and design on this site are protected by copyright. Our Copyright Policy explains what you can reuse and how to report a problem.

Accuracy

We work hard to keep the site accurate. Medical articles are reviewed by Dr. Kumar before they're published. Even so, medicine moves on, and hours, phone numbers and other details can change. We can't promise every page is complete and up to date at every moment. If you spot a mistake, please tell us.

Links to other websites

We link to other sites and embed videos and maps from services like YouTube, Vimeo and Google. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or how they treat your data.

Our liability

We provide this website as it is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss or harm that comes from relying on the information here instead of seeking medical care, from the site being unavailable, or from third-party sites we link to. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can't legally be limited, or affects the standard of care you receive when you're actually treated.

Privacy

How we handle your personal information is covered in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the site after that, you're accepting the updated terms.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute about them or about this website will be dealt with by the courts in New Delhi.
