Cookie Policy
The few cookies and browser storage items the Cardio Care website uses, what each one does, and how to control them.

Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser so it can remember something from one page to the next. Some sites use dozens of them. We use very few, and none of them are for advertising. Here's the full list and what each one is for.
Cookies we set ourselves
| Name | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
cardiocare_session | Set when you open a page with a form, such as the appointment or review form. It lets the site check that a form really came from this site and not from a forged copy, and it remembers what you typed if we need to show you an error. It holds no personal information itself. | Until you close your browser |
This cookie is strictly necessary. Without it the forms won't send, so there's no switch to turn it off here.
Other things we store in your browser
When we run an announcement popup and you close it, your browser keeps a small note (named something like cc_popup_12_...) so we don't show you the same popup again. Depending on the popup, that note lasts either until you close the tab or until you clear your browser data. It's never sent to us and says nothing about who you are.
Analytics
We sometimes use Google Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they find useful. When it's switched on, Google sets these cookies:
| Name | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
_ga | Tells one visitor apart from another so visits can be counted. | 2 years |
_ga_<ID> | Keeps track of the current visit. | 2 years |
We ask Google to shorten your IP address before storing it, and we only look at overall figures, never at individuals. If you'd rather not be counted, you can block these cookies in your browser or install Google's opt-out add-on from tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Videos, maps and social links
- YouTube videos are embedded in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, which doesn't set cookies until you press play. Once you do, YouTube's own cookies and policies apply.
- Vimeo videos may set Vimeo's cookies when the player loads.
- The Google Map on our contact page is loaded from Google, which may set its own cookies.
- Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp buttons are plain links. Nothing is shared with those services unless you click through.
We don't control these third-party cookies. Each service's own privacy policy explains what it does.
Controlling cookies
Every modern browser lets you see, block and delete cookies, usually under Settings, then Privacy or Security. You can also browse in a private or incognito window, which clears everything when you close it. The site still works if you block cookies, except for the forms, which need the session cookie.
Changes
If we add or remove cookies, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
