Who owns the content on the Cardio Care website, what you can share or quote, and how to report a copyright concern.

A lot of work goes into what you read and watch here. This page explains who owns it, what you're free to do with it, and what to do if you think something on the site belongs to you.
Who owns the content
Unless a page says otherwise, the articles, photographs, videos, graphics and design of this website are © Cardio Care / Dr. (Prof.) Tarun Kumar, and are protected under India's Copyright Act, 1957. Some material belongs to other people and is used with their permission or under licence. Where that's the case we credit them, and their rights stay with them.
What you're welcome to do
- Share links to any page, on social media, in messages or on your own website.
- Print or save a page for your own use, for example to take along to an appointment.
- Quote a short extract for non-commercial or educational purposes, as long as you name "Dr. (Prof.) Tarun Kumar, Cardio Care" as the source and link back to the original page.
What needs our written permission
- Copying whole articles, or large parts of them, onto another website, app, book or social media page.
- Using our photos or videos, including the gallery and pictures of Dr. Kumar.
- Any commercial use, including in advertising or on a paid platform.
- Rewording our articles and publishing them as your own.
- Using Dr. Kumar's name or photograph in a way that suggests he endorses a product, service or another practice.
To ask for permission, email us with what you'd like to use and where. We're usually happy to help, especially when it's for patient education.
Patient stories and reviews
Patient stories are published with the patient's consent, and reviews belong to the people who wrote them. Please don't copy them anywhere else.
Other people's content on this site
Videos embedded from YouTube or Vimeo belong to whoever made them. Hospital names and logos belong to the hospitals. Medical journals, conference organisers and other publications own their names and material. Their appearance here doesn't mean they endorse this site.
If you think we've used your work
We're careful to use only material we own or have permission for, but mistakes happen. If you believe something here infringes your copyright, please email us with:
- your name and how to reach you;
- the work you own, or a link to it;
- the address of the page on our site where it appears;
- a short statement that you own the rights (or act for the owner) and haven't given us permission to use it.
We'll look into it and reply within 7 working days. If your claim holds up, we'll take the material down or credit you, whichever you prefer. If we disagree, we'll tell you why.
